How scary it sounds to think that some DR. is going to take a Laser and zap your eye. I mean, come on, aren’t those the machines that can burn holes right through metal?
Not really, These lasers don’t fry your eye, but it is still SCARY just thinking that you’re going to have something working on your eye. Sure hope they don’t slip or the power goes out in the middle of the procedure…
I don’t sound very reassuring, but I am having it done tomorrow afternoon.
I’ll go into work for 1/2 day, leave at lunch time and head straight to the eye clinic for my surgery.
I think my husband is more nervous than me. That’s because he doesn’t know what it’s like to have vision so bad that everything more than 3 inches from your face is blurry! I’m willing to chance blindness in order to see because I’m not far from that anyhow.

I’ll let you know how it goes…that is, if I don’t go blind. Then I won’t be typing anything until I learn Braile. 🙂 just kidding. I’m sure it will be fine.
I wish I could show pictures, but I don’t think they allow pictures to be taken of the surgery procedure.
